Steele & Freeman completes the Temple Ancira Cinemark XD

Steele & Freeman completed the Ancira Cinemark XD, located in Temple, Texas. The theater is new-generation, with a snack bar and beer/wine bar, twelve separate auditoriums that are acoustically separated, and murals evoking the glamour days of Hollywood. Each theater has floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall screens with fully digital projectors and surround-sound. The theater was completed just in time for the Christmas holiday movie season, despite rain and "Icemaggedon" – the ice storm that shut down large parts of the state for four days.
