Weatherford College Beam Signing

Steele & Freeman is building the new Don Allen Health Science Building for Weatherford College. Instead of a ground-breaking, the school held a beam-signing ceremony as well as a celebration of the final amount raised for the capital campaign. The beam was signed by all who had an interest in the school. It was then craned into place after the ceremony with the rest of the building’s structural skeleton, which had already been completed. This piece of the building will hold the history of the day as a sort of time capsule.
